THEORETICAL  AND  EXPERIMENTAL  STUDY  OF  SOUND  INSULATION  OF  WALL  PANEL  SYSTEMS

The paper presents theoretical and experimental study of sound insulation of single and double wall systems. The two panels when installed at a certain distance, have the intermediate space between them remaining hollowor it can be filled with sound-absorbingmaterials. The impedance technique was used to estimate the sound insulation of single or sandwichpanel systems. Experimental results are presented to show elastic and dissipative parameters of building materials under review.
