NUMERICAL  SIMULATION  OF  BLANKET  FILTER  OPERATION  FOR  ENTRAPPING  SUSPENDED  IMPURITIES

The paper presents a mathematical model of suspended filtering material behavior in a clarifying reactor. A new assumption concerning the movement of impurity particles in a filtering bed is discussed in this paper. A strong dependence was established between a statistical model and a choice of the movement trajectory model (free movement and displacement diagram) of particles in a filtering bed for various grain radii of filtering material.
