EUROPEAN  ARCHITECTURAL  STYLES  OF  THE 18TH– 19TH  CENTURIES  IN  MODERN  RUSSIAN  TEMPLE  CONSTRUCTION

The article analyzes the current application of the European architectural styles of the 18th–19th centuries in building of Orthodox churches. This relevant problem covers development paths of Orthodox architecture. The article includes examples of Orthodox churches built in the 18th–19thcenturies and gives recommendations on Orthodox church design using the European style.The analysis confirms the permissibility of using Baroque, Classicism, Empire styles in modern church construction.
