ESTIMATION  OF  LOCAL  DEFECTS  OF  LOADED  FLOORS  CONSIDERING  DESIGN  MODEL  STEPPING

The paper presents the analysis of structural behavior with defects. It is shown that the influence of local defects on the stress-strain state of the structure occurs at one of the loading stages. The estimation of stress-strain state of defective structure requires the use of computational methods to track the gradual stress accumulation and redistribution. The multi-stage computational analysis accounts for the available reserves of bearing capacity of the defective structure. Design analysis of defective structures performed using the traditional technology and the stress superposition principle, gives an extremely conservative estimate of the stress-strain state, which is defined by the inability to take into account such important factors as design and multi-mode structural behavior at a local excess of bearing capacity leading to the force redistribution.

Keywords: load-bearing structures; defective structures; modeling; stress-strain state; estimated forecast; design technology; design model.
